    Living in the northern area of the country, it’s harder to find seed distributors that have seed proven to do well in northern climates. This company does exactly that. These carrots are no exception. They produce well in our short summers in northern Michigan and are very tasty. Saving seed for biennial producers like carrots and cabbage can be tricky and is something I’m still learning to succeed at in our unpredictable winters. Dan and Theresa do a great job at saving good seed with high germination rates and are willing to help others learn. This is a great business to support!

    These are one of my favorite tomatoes to grow! I purchased them last year and started them from seeds for the 1st time. I usually purchase the plant from our local greenhouse but figured I’d try starting them myself and test out my green thumb. Let’s just say I have lots of things I could improve on for this year! So I am glad this company offers this type of tomato seed. I did get a few plants to grow last year and loved the little harvest I got from them. Excited to try them again this year and change how I did a few things so I can have more plants this year!

    I order seeds from Prairie Road Organic Seed every year because I know that the seeds are high quality, organic, and will grow well in my northern climate growing conditions. And that Prairie Road is truly a family farm is a bonus! I am happy to support them.

    My order arrived quickly and well packaged. The seed packets are nice and have all the planting instructions and info needed. It's my first order from the company, and it's not quite time to begin germination in my area yet, but I am pleased so far.
