Description

A Weighted Teddy Bear for Infant Loss is a therapeutic bereavement gift. Each memorial teddy bear is carefully made incorporating a blanket or outfit bought for the little one or with Minky (super soft fabric) if no clothing is available.

The weighted teddy bear for infant loss is smaller than our regular bears making it the perfect size for moms to hold and ease the physical ache women have to hold their stillborn or miscarried baby. This particular bear has moveable arms and legs and measures approximately 9 inches seated.

A name and date can be embroidered onto the memory bear before it’s weighted with poly pellets to match the birth weight.

If you choose to have an article of clothing incorporated into the bear, you will receive an email with my address to send your item of clothing. Production takes 2-3 weeks (after the clothing is received). Your weighted remembrance bear will be mailed back to you using priority mail.

This is a wonderful keepsake for kids of all ages. There are, however, small parts (eyes, nose, and buttons) that could be choking hazards.

Shipping Policy

I ship either USPS Priority Mail or USPS First class mail within the US. I always get tracking numbers (except international orders.)  (I also have a overnight option available.) It usually takes 2-5 business days after I have shipped for your item to arrive (prior to the current health crisis). I am NOT responsible for delays once the USPS accepts your package. Please purchase the Route shipping insurance to cover the cost of all lost, stolen, or broken items. Once you purchase the added insurance, you will receive a confirmation email from Route that your purchase is protected and gives you a link to file a claim should that be necessary. If for whatever reason the order does not reach you, the product gets damaged before arriving, or gets stolen from your porch, you can claim a refund from Route. If you need an item before 2-3 weeks, please contact me to discuss other shipping options PRIOR to ordering. I have a rush option you can add to your cart. (THIS ONLY RUSHES PROCESSING TIME, NOT SHIPPING.)

If you are unsure of your options, contact me. If a specific font is not requested I will typically use a font that coordinates with the design purchased.

I take great care with each item to ensure accuracy, however, if a mistake has been made on my part please contact me immediately so I can work with you to correct the issue. Any item that has had a mistake made on my part MUST be returned to me within 3 DAYS, in its original condition and not used. Most items take 2-3 weeks to make as they are handcrafted.  Refunds are not given for failure to plan accordingly.   I have a rush charge available if you need your item before the 2-3 week turnaround.
