Ruby throated hummingbird and coneflowers – Photo

Description

Captured in my flower garden at our farmstead in rural North Dakota. This little hummingbird frequents my coneflowers every year. I sat in the shadows for a couple of hours waiting for him to make his appearance.  The distinct sound of their wings let me know that he was near.  Captured with Canon 5d MarkIV and 400mm l series lens
